This event is produced by the North Carolina Serious Illness Coalition in collaboration with its membership and partner coalitions.

THE FUTURE OF AI TO IMPROVE CARE AND CAREGIVING

 

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an increasingly popular way to provide personalized, real-time information and support to patients, providers, and caregivers. During this AARP NC-moderated session:

  • Health Data Management will discuss AI’s current applications and future possibilities
  • Examples of innovative products that coordinate communications and resources for health systems, individuals living with serious illness, and their caregivers will be shared
  • Discussions about making ethical and responsible choices that maintain the human to human connection

MY SUPERPOWER: DOCUMENTARY SCREENING & CONVERSATION WITH ADVOCATES AND THE FILM’S STARS

 

This moving short documentary film tells the story of young Catalya Castanon, who lives with NF1, a rare genetic condition that causes tumors to grow on nerves. Following the screening we are honored to have a live discussion with the stars of the film, Cat & Christa, as well as other loved ones of people with NF & staff of the Children Tumor Foundation.
