Rikki Nugent Hooper MBA MLAS MSN FNP-BC ACHPN
Chief Clinical Officer, Four Seasons
Rikki Hooper joined Four Seasons in 2004 as a palliative care nurse practitioner. She has served in various leadership roles, including palliative care director, regional manager, and regional director of palliative care. As a strong believer in quality care at the end of life, Ms. Hooper consistently advocates for her patients and families to achieve their goals. These experiences led her to accept the role of Chief Clinical officer for Four Seasons this year.
Harvey Nix, PA-C, MPAS
Director of Hospital Palliative Care, Four Seasons
Harvey joined the Four Seasons team in 2008 as a mid-level practitioner in the Palliative Care Group. Harvey is a Fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. His personal experience- as a cancer survivor and his mother dying from ALS influenced his desire to seek a position to assist patients dealing with life-limiting illness.
Stephen Mantzouris MSN, FNP-C, RN, ACHPN
APP Clinical Supervisor, Transitions LifeCare
Stephen is a Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner and has Advance Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Certification. He is a Navy Veteran and was a Naval Nurse for many years. Stephen clinically supervises all Advanced Practice Providers for Transitions Life care- including Inpatient Palliative Care, Outpatient Palliative Care and Hospice. He is also directly involved in continued evaluation of all APP’s during the year to help ensure well trained and educated APP’s and helps provide direction of the Palliative Care program.

Dr. Katy Lanz is an award-winning clinical expert in serious illness care, recognized nationally for designing and scaling clinical interventions in all care settings with all stakeholders. Currently, Dr. Lanz serves as the chief clinical officer of Aspire Health, the nation’s largest home-based palliative practice. She has 20 years of combined clinical experience and strategic operational leadership.
