Emily Roland is Senior Director of Program Implementation at the North Carolina Healthcare Foundation and NC Team Lead for CaroNova. Emily is a North Carolina native with an extensive background in cancer care and advocacy.
Dean Higgins is Executive Director of Program Development and Operations at the North Carolina Healthcare Foundation. Also a North Carolina native, Dean has a background in community mental health, hospice programs, and large-scale improvement collaboratives.
The North Carolina Healthcare Foundation supports and leads efforts to improve health outcomes and equity through the engagement of hospitals, health systems, and their community partners. Operating within NCHA, a statewide member advocacy organization, NCHF also aims for systems change through close alignment with NCHA’s policy and advocacy priorities.
