Jacqui Zanders is one of NC Serious Illness Coalition’s amazing spring interns. Jacqui earned her BA in Social Anthropology from Harvard University and is currently an MD/MPH student at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is also the graduate editor for the Health Humanities Journal and UNC-Chapel Hill and a volunteer at the Durham Center for Senior Life. Her internship focus is on strengthening organ donation education and outreach within the African American community. In her free time she loves reading, baking, and learning new hobbies.
