Colby Wilkinson and Elianna Horner join us to talk about their experiences and their work with The G Day. Colby is the organizer and a direct service professional and Elianna is a program participant and part of the community outreach at The G Day.
The G Day is a new organization that is all about celebrating every day as a G Day—where neuro and physically diverse adults come together to thrive, connect, and enjoy life to the fullest.
The G Day team has three major goals.
- Offer Unforgettable Experiences: We aim to provide high-quality, enjoyable experiences for individuals with disabilities as they engage in community activities.
- Promote The G House Mission: We strive to highlight and support the mission of The G House, bringing awareness to our vision and plans for expansion.
- Recruit Direct Support Professionals (DSPs): We work to attract and recruit people into the DSP field in an engaging and enjoyable manner.
