The final session focused on health policy implementation and regulation. Presenters from NC DHHS and the North Carolina General Assembly explained the makeup of the NCGA and its committees, when it meets in session, how it impacts public health policy, and ways for legislators to be more involved with this process at the community level.
Session 5 focused on rural health in North Carolina; the state of our health care workforce for an aging population; and the settings, services, and supports that make up long-term care.
